Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Yreka, CA area. We are looking for compassionate and skilled professionals who are committed to helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
-
Provide direct therapy services to students based on IEP goals
-
Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student development
-
Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and update records as required
-
Participate in eligibility and progress review meetings
Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following state and local requirements to be considered:

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
-
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
-
Valid California Teaching Credential in Speech-Language Pathology Services or a waiver/permit that authorizes service in public schools
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred; Clinical Fellows may also be considered
-
Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Prior experience in a school-based setting is a plus
